Strong agreement. Nothing has hurt worse than my wife kicking me barefoot while she was giving birth.

the force/energy involved in our every day movements is surprising...

when said movements collide with fixed objects anyway...

I feel your pain CB, having broken my right pinkie toe by kicking the bedpost myself. As far as VinVega's childbirth quip, I have passed a kidney stone. 'Nuff said.

Try stubbing your toe against something hard when you have an ingrown. *That's* painful.

I always manage to knock it against the metal frame thing of my bed, that seems to be the only place it happens. Weird.

My roomate used to have a futon that we used as the couch in the TV room. The stupid thing had a single, small, square metal rod supporting the front middle of the frame. Not a nice, big, round metal leg. Just a very small, sharp, hurty little thing which you'd hit if you weren't too careful.

I also hit my head several times on two things: the solid soap holder in my shower and the edge of my deck (since I keep my trashcan underneath).
