I'm off to WonderCon!

This is my mortal shell.

If you're there and see me, shout "Kudama!!!" and I'll hop on a skillet. I'd love to share beer time with any one of y'all.

Same here. I was quite disappointed to find it has nothing to do with Wonder Bread.

I'm not a comic geek but I'm thinking of going too.

Looking at the site, I hope to get my picture taken with Lou Ferrigno (the original Hulk) and the guys who played Chewbacca and Darth Vader if they are in costume.

Couple of different items gives him away as a comic book fan.

1. Starman googles
2. Stormtrooper blaster
3. Mask of that douchebag from Hellboy with the windup front
4. He looks like Warren Ellis

And a fan of Pokeman too. Isn't that the yellow cat from Pokeman?

Hope that Ferrigno's rates haven't been raised. $25 a photo was what I remember. And Prowse and Mayhew don't dress up.

Those guys never show up in costume (at least that's been my experience). But Peter is always interested when someone else is wearing a Star Wars costume... I really WAS taking a picture of just Peter... honest

Oh, Lou has no problem getting a picture of you and him... just gotta pay him. Last I heard, he charges $20.

Oh, newbie here. $20 is too much. And no costume, no deal.

So your saying you want a man to dance around in green paint shirtless with a wig on while you take a picture for a mere $20...

I'd put money on the Jolly-green giant taking a picture with you for free.

No, no, no. I was referring to Chewie and Darth Vader guys in costume.

I've heard from numerous reliable sources that he can be a big a-hole about stuff like that. Granted, it's his time and one deserves to be paid but I know some fans are now turned off by his attitude. But it might be a YMMV situation and, since Wondercon is much smaller than Comic-Con, he might adjust his attitude and price.

Supposed to be Lobster Johnson.-I didn’t get the little beak thing goin’ on. I gave a copy (my first) to Guillermo del Torro two years ago.Gave one to Mike Mignola yesterday. I’m vying with his daughter for a nifty Hellboy drawing endorsing the SPCA. I’m sorry Mike Mignola’s daughter…I WANT that drawing!!!

Neato. Doesn’t count as talent sadly. I like his writing and don’t really come up to snuff.

As good a time as any to tell this story: I worked graveyard at a gas station for about a year. I ended up regularly buying a twelve pack at about just after 6 am. I would go home, proceed to drink and watch Pokemon. Needless to say I became a huge drunken fan. I started calling my cat Pikachu (one of her eleven names) and Meowth (the yellow cat you speak of) became my hero as the leader of the narcissistic Team Rocket.

You cut quite the dapper figure there, Kudama. Nothing like I'd pictured. Hope you're having a blast at the con.

One time, I was home sick from work and the Pikachu Vs. Raichu episode made me cry. That is all.
