Oh man, she's so pretty! Details, man! How old? Where did you get her? What's she like?

She's 6 months. We actually found her on Craigslist. A family had a litter and she's the last one. She's wonderful with the kids. Very calm. She rode on my wife's lap on the way home. Wasn't spooked at all. We've had her home about 2 hours now and she's right at home. I'm very surprised she hasn't hid or meowed constantly.

After our journey to find a kitten/cat it was pure karma that we ended up with what seems to be a wonderful kitty!

Wow. That looks exactly like my two cats, same markings and all. Hopefully she won't get as big as mine are. 25 pounds and 23 pounds.

Nice looking cat. We've got one that looks just like her. I've got another tabby with white legs so it looks like he has socks on. I'm glad you got one that made herself right at home... it is nice to be able to skip the adjustment. A mellow "Go with the flow" cat is the best kind.

I just informed her there is a no meow policy after 11pm. We'll see how the first night goes. I'll update in the morning

Aw, she looks like our younger cat. Her stripes aren't as distinct as your kitty's though.

Very cute!

We told our new rescue cat that there's no howling, yowling or running around allowed after 11pm, but she totally disrespects our authority

Well the first night went well. She slept on the bed most of the night. I was surprised actually.

I dont have a cat, but I wanted to know how long does it take to get housebroken. Also will cats urinate elsewhere (rug, furniture)if angry or upset?

Not long at all. I've housed ferals that have never been handled by people before and even they know how to use a litter box. Also, when my cats get mad they don't pee on the floor (like a dog would), they just continue to ignore you like they do anyways.

Thats great! Our kids flipped out too. The knew we have been looking but really didn't know when we were actually getting one. Went home a lunch and she was sprawled out on the bed. Lazy bones.

Second night didn't go so well. She meowed most of the night. She had food and water, but wanted attention when it was sleepy time.

Lets hope tonight is better

Has she been fixed? She's about the right age for going into heat.

She hasn't. She hasn't meowed a single tune since I've been home today. We'll see though. She will get fixed though.
