Snow, snow and more frickin' snow... and then, more snow

We got more than 14" today. We had almost twice the snow in December as average and almost twice the snow in January as average. We are now just a couple inches away from breaking the all-time Madison record for snow in a winter and it's only the first week in February.

I just heard this called the storm of the decade.

I have never been so sick of winter in my life.

We only got a crappy 3 inch snow this year and that was on the grass. We havent even had any flurries. I think AG is right on the money. I still think I invented the internets, though.

As soon as the storm passes here in Michigan, I'm going to go and shovel the driveway so that my sister can get in tonight and my mom can get out in the morning.

Just a few weeks ago, it was in the 50's.

Dude, it's Madison freakin Wisconsin.

I used to go there on business. If you haven't noticed yet, it gets cold there!

Cute hippie chicks, though.

We had about 2-4 inches last night, but I don't care, February will be done soon enough, then it will be spring.

Yeah but our average winter is about 40". The record is 76.1". We're now over 74" with maybe about a month and a half to go if this were a normal year. We can get it through about the second week in April. In '73 we got more than 12" on April 8-9. I think our hippie chicks have been gone since about '73. The snow got 'em to move to Berkeley.

I've heard it's the strong La Nina way out in the Pacific.

We live on a cul-de-sac called The Last Street Plowed in Madison Where We Dump Six Feet of Crap at the End of Your Driveway Lane.

It's hell writing out that address all the time.

We were supposed to get 8-10 inches. We might have got 2 total.

A few days ago we were supposed to get light rain. We got 4 inches of snow.

I don't know why I bother looking at weather forecasts.
