2008 Dodge Challenger.......?

I just saw pics of the new Dodge Challenger on CNN. Here are a couple of links to give you an idea:

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this thing is absolutely hideous?

My biggest gripe with the Charger was that it was a 4-door.

This has bad-ass written all over it!

It's a concept car. They'll keep the cupholders.

All it needs is a rope with a black man tied to it.

I like it - but here is the problem

the interior is a huge glob of molded plastic with that crap brushed metal look all over everything.

Actually here is the factory version. Pretty much identical.

Haha....that interior looks exactly like my Jeep SRT8's interior. It may not look all that great but it's functional. I guess their cost cutting to keep the price down, but once you get behind the wheel of a hemi you forget all that.

I'd take one, but I see where you are going... if only they continued to shave off some of the contours... and make that black inlay grill larger...

I like it, but I don't like it at that price.

I had an order in for one but my dealer screwed me (agreement was sticker, but now they are taking bids - starting at 10K over sticker).

The $38k is for the 425hp top of the line version. Next year (really just 6 months from now since this is a late release) they will have 5.7L 380hp and 3.5L 250hp versions that will be cheaper.

They will also be adding a 6sp manual next year. Oh, and a drag race, not street legal version too.

Seems the same as how Ford made the recent Mustang more retro looking to appeal to people that liked those older designs.

I think it's ok.

I like it... I wouldn't buy one, but I like it.

Looking forward to the Top Gear review
