Saw this Star Wars thing in the store

Star Wars toy

Once I found out the price, I was like WTF. I love Star Wars, but who would spend $95 on this?
Went back to the store and they have lots left.

The Toys R Us stores out here in Los Angeles had these for $49 in mid-December. Star Wars + Legos= instant purchase for me. I'm a little disappointed, I thought it would be made out of actual Lego plastic, instead it's some sort of painted solid resin. It still looks cool, but I wouldn't pay $95 for it.

NEVER underestimate the dark power that leads a Star Wars collector to buy something new.

Just for the record. I've got a house full of Star Wars/Trek toys. I haven't collected in a while, but when I was, I probably would have passed on this. I mostly collected action figures (of all sizes). Mostly....

I would have picked this up for $30. The store here in So Cal that I saw it at was charging $70. I used to collect heavily, but not any more.

I love the SW Lego stuff but I wouldn't buy that. If they have a Vader or Fett one, maybe.

$100 for a six-inch figurine that looks like a Star Wars character turned into a Lego man? Jesus H. Christ, people actually buy this crap? It's information like this that makes me want to stop leaving my house.

I grabbed one of these(near the front) at TRU and carried it to the back of store where the U-Scan is since I didn't see a shelf tag. Scanned at $75. I was amazed so I decided to just put it on the shelf next to the scanner. Lo and behold there was one already sitting there.

I wouldn't mind having one, but $25 is my max on something like that.

Yeah I'd love to have these, but they're way too expensive for what you get. Instead I'd rather buy the star wars medicom 12" figures. I have the Darth Vader one and thats awesome.
