I got my last wallet at Kohls. I didn't need anything fancy and it does the job.

Coach outlet store. $50 gets you a wallet that last a long time. I have a Coach wallet from '93 that is still in great shape.

Anybody know of a tri-fold that does NOT have a fold dedicated to the id window? OR have an added "fourth" that is for ids?

I think I got my last one at a Tommy Hilfiger outlet in Hilton Head, SC. It's a wallet/money clip combo and has served me well.

A friend got me this one a few years ago:

You can get wallets pretty much at any department store.

I've been looking for a nice thin wallet to wear in my front pocket.

Any recommendations?

Yes sir! Funny this thread comes up now--I've spent the last couple of weeks looking for a good front pocket wallet to replace my old (and entirely unnecessary) checkbook wallet. Even searched here, to see if there were any previous threads on the subject (there weren't). I wanted one with an I.D. window, a few credit card slots, and a pocket in the middle for cash. I did not want an exterior money clip.

After looking at quite a few different ones, both at B&M and online stores, I went with this one:

The Johnston & Murphy Weekender

(I got the Chocolate color--there are several other colors to choose from.)

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for me, as I'm trying to simplify things and don't need to be carrying a bunch of extra crap around.

As far as retailers go, I can also enthusiastically recommend Shoebuy.com. This is probably gonna sound like I'm shilling for them, but I'm not--I'm just very satisfied with my purchase from them. $35 wallet, and I was able to get it for less than $23 shipped. Found a $10 off coupon online, and also got 10% off for registering at their site. No sales tax (at least in my state), they shipped for free, and I got the wallet yesterday. Shipping took less than a week (ordered it last Thursday).

I also looked at Ebags.com but couldn't get nearly as good a price on it.

Other front pocket wallets I seriously considered were the Dopp Regatta 88 Series and the Dopp Morgan 72 Series wallets. The J&M wallet was a little more expensive, but I liked the interior cash pocket on it a little better.

I got mine at Wal-mart a few months ago for $5. Black leather. It's one of those long ones (the size of a checkbook). Nice quality and worth every penny. But I've never been picky about shit anyway...

Jimi front pocket wallet FTW. I can't stand carrying a wallet in my back pocket.

This actually looks like what I want, but I'm disappointed at 2 card slots per fold.

The "Big Skinny" does look interesting, but I'm looking for more traditional rather than sporty/urban.
