Play a game of pool at The Comet.

Taste every local beer you can.

Eat breakfast at the Hi Spot Cafe.

The Comet looks cool. And the breakfast menu at Hi Spot seems tasty, if slightly pricey.

As for the beer -- you know I'm gonna sample every beer that comes my way.

Thanks!

The troll is awesome, i wish i had gotten a good picture of him when i was there.

I did get a neat picture of the Lenin statue. People put scarves on him so he had this awesome knitted scarf when i saw him.

Just to give non-Seattlites an idea, Left Bank has an entire anarchy section. Ironically, it's neatly organized by author.

No but my little plastic toaster doesn't go that fast. Plus, I got kids in the car so I have to drive safely.

Hey now, anarchism isn't all about chaos.

I have a picture of one of my friends and his son by the anarcho-syndicalist flag. It is a really cool shop with a whole section of zines. They also have some great tshirts, buttons, and patches.

I'd say driving 45 mph in 60 and 70 mph zones (that's 180 miles in 4 hours --> 45 mph) isn't really driving safely at all.

mmmm. For most of the 'downtown attractions, its a walking city. There will be attractions that require a car or public transportation of some sort.

Hmmm, maybe it's been too long since I've been up that way but I still seem to recall it taking about 4 hours. Perhaps what you're not taking into thought here is the fact that we have to stop every 10 minutes for potty breaks. Kids....

Do go to the Pike Brewery, about 50 yards south of Pike Place Market. One of the better breweries that I have visited. Good food and awesome beer.

Another Brewery near Seattle:

Red Hook is in Woodinville

Redhook Brewery

While in Woodinville, if you are into wine, is the Chateau Ste Michelle. While Washington Wine is no where well known as California vineyards, I do believe Washington is up there.

Chateau Ste Michelle

Into the Music scene? Some local, 'hip' record labels:

Sub Pop Records

Local Rock record shop:

Sonic Boom Records

Check out a movie at the Cinerama if you can... 4th and Lenora I think.

If you feel like live music I've always enjoyed The High Dive, it's in Fremont.
