whopper discontinued?

http://www.whopperfreakout.com/

Linked because the auto sound part can cause trouble for people at work

(the embedding doesnt seem to work - just click the link)

very creative idea for an ad.

Sure people going to BK would be mad if they couldn't get the Whopper. But eventually they would just stop going to BK, as there's really not much else on the menu worth getting.

Not to mention their fries have sucked for a long time.

I love how the customers say they hate Wendy's or McDonald's.

What if, instead of discontinuing the Whopper, they just dropped fries from the combo meal?

The Whopper is not a double cheeseburger.

Is this another analogy thread? The whopper represents anal sex, doesn't it?

Any flame broiled meat generally does.

Except the Whopper doesn't have cheese. It's a burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo and ketchup on sesame seed bun. Flame broiled, of course.

The funniest thing is that my wife got pissed yesterday because she thought they were making fun of the whole "Day without a Mexican" thing.

Ethnics are so touchy.

Classic.

The reaction by the stoner/skater type kid in the beginning was classic. As was the reaction by the guy at the end with the Mojave Electric tee shirt.

I love the reason for discontinuing "It just got too popular - too big for the menu".

On a side note, I don't know the name of the actor who played the Burger King manager, but he played a security guard on an old Curb Your Enthusiasm episode that threw Larry David out for arguing with a family member in the hotel lobby.

I know we decided that embedding videos was okay, but can we not embed autoplay videos?

That was pretty great. I think I would be pissed too if someone tried to give me a Wendy's burger.

I linked it because I was getting tired of hearing the video every time I clicked on this thread or replied to this thread. I think it's fine of you want to embed a video, but not if it's going to autoplay. It will wind up playing at a time when people do not want it to be playing.
