This is why everyone should own a gun and be well skilled in using it.

You've got witnesses that place you at work last night, right?

And when they catch the guys, they should get the death penalty. Of course, all this would have been prevented if abortion was made more available to women. Hopefully stem cell research can be a catalyst for removing whatever DNA it is that causes people to steal.

have any recent work done? ie cable guy? gas guy? electrician? delivery guy? anyone who would have seen all that stuff there?

Sound slike your next purchase should be a high-def Brinks Home Security system.

Glad to hear nobody was hurt tho.

Yeah did they knock on the door with ski masks on? Was there a door left open and they entered that way? What time of day?

It does indeed suck, but it sounds like it could have ended up a lot worse.

Just two glasses of wine and I'm already writing like a four year old. But back on topic. Really sorry to hear about the robbery. While, it's certainly a terrible loss to lose all you did, it can all be replaced. Families can not so count your blessings and call your insurance agent.

They came in with the door unlocked (I keep telling them to lock the door at all times at night but they won't listen to me and look what happened, I hope it would make them learn their lesson to lock the door at night!!!!!!!) It happened around 2:30 am, my parents were sleeping and thought it was me when they heard the door shut and my parents turn on the light calling my name and when they saw it was the masked robbers instead of me, they were horrified and 1 of the men told my parents to get up and my parents got up and walked in front of the gunman and went to the sunroom and the gunman told the parents to sit down and he was watching them while the 2 other men robbed everything and then after that was done, all 3 gunmen left and then my parents called the police and then e-mailed me at my work and I rushed home to see everything ransacked and barely empty

Damn, unlocked door at 2AM is never a good thing.

I don't suppose you left the empty TV box out on the curb for garbage pickup?

No, I never opened the TV package because I was really in a hurry to get to work

Stealing a damn TV is quite odd, i.e. completely stupid, and these guys (I'm guessing boys probably under 20yrs old) were rather unprofessional. I'd also say they live within your parents' home of about a 3-mile radius. These little fucks can get caught. They probably have the shit at their homes where they live with their parents, except for the jewelry.

I would've believed you but Alberto has resigned, and I'm sorry, but your theory makes no sense without him.

First of all thank God your parents are OK. Nothing else really matters at all.

Secondly, armed home invasion robbery when people are home is a very hard-core crime. To me, it seems like it's not something veteran criminals would want to get involved in, more likely it's something drug addicts do when they get desperate. That makes the situation that much more scary and dangerous.

As I said, thank God they're unharmed.
