Self-Portrait Ideas?

So I have to create a self-portrait for my company's website. I work in a creative industry, so (just about) anything goes.

One thought I had was to do a photo of myself that looks like a mug shot, complete with number, background, black eye and all.

Ideas?

Insert yourself into the photo from the end of The Shining.

(Your idea is good, by the way, just brainstorming for you...)

Photoshop yourself into a scene with all the famous otter characters (skank girl, B. Peppers, Big Daddy Cool, et al).

Some recycled ideas:

Triple self portrait a la Norman Rockwell

Another Rockwell - pose like a figure from the Sistine Chapel, like his portrait of "Rosie the Riveter"

Kramer "jacket" portrait from Seinfeld

Nobody would get it, but something like the expensive photo portrait of O.C (or Stiggs, can't remember) with the lobster-monster from the National Lampoon story. Don't have a picture to post but it's pretty striking (and obscure).

The 9/11 hoax portrait with the plane about to crash into the tower (this would take some chutzpah).

One of those photo-collage things where your portrait is made up of hundreds of smaller pictures.

The cheesy double portrait (see Will Ferrell in the random picture post thread).

Hold up a magnifying glass and photograph yourself such that your face, through the magnifying glass, is upside down, but your body (outside the magnifying glass) is right side up. With some maneuvering, you should be able to get both your face and your body in focus.

Another idea using the magnifying glass is to put something outside the frame of the shot that will show up inside the magnifying glass. Should be relatively easy to do because the glass will shrink everything behind it. For example (I'm sure you could come up with something better) you could be holding a beer outside of the frame and the magnifying glass will show you holding it.

Wear a red sweater and kneel in front of a fireplace with two golden retrievers at either side. Make sure there's a lot of soft focus.

I'd say go for the old stand-by...
Grab a camera, stand in front of a mirror and shoot..... LiveJournal-style. Then put the image in a black border with a single word (and one liner description) like those inspirational posters.
