That's impossible, everyone knows African-Americans can't be racist!

This is the part that cracked me up. I tell customers that they can go somewhere else at least once a month. Now Im waiting for the lawsuit. Seriously why would he need to rent a car to go a cleaner, other than jack up the lawsuit.

Yeah, because $64,985,000 wasn't a nice round number.

That's what will be interesting - if this was a old white judge the Civil Liberties Union would be all over him! Let's see what happens when someone from the "protected class" acts like a raging asshole.

Is that why the prisons are overflowing with whitey? :scratch2:

Groucho 05-03-07 02:01 PM

This thread came up on a routine search for "pants overflowing with whitey". It does not deliver. :grumble:

bhk 05-03-07 02:11 PM

The dryclean owner should hire John Edwards. Edwards channels the spirit of the pants and says "I wanted to disappear. Imagine being worn by that ass(plaintiff)." Case closed.

On January 7, 2004, at the final pretrial hearing on discovery, the trial court denied husband's motion to compel wife to respond to his two hundred forty-eight requests for admissions, ruling that the number of requests was excessive on its face.

WOW! This guy IS nuts!

The trial court denied husband's request for spousal support, denied his request for Code 8.01-271.1 sanctions and discovery sanctions, and ordered him to pay $12,000 in attorney's fees to wife.

Thank GOD!

The trial court entered the final decree on February 12, 2004 with husband's exceptions attached, including his assertion that the trial court erred in failing to grant him a reservation of spousal support.

Of course!

There's so much more to that story. Too fricken funny. This guy has got the biggest balls ever!

Hmmm, that's very interesting indeed. Apparently 2.5% of MSNBC poll voters are complete and total retards.

Look, I'm not defending this guy, but to say he should lose his license is ridiculous. It would be a blatant denial of equal protection and due process. What is the comparable penalty for anyone who is not a lawyer who brings a frivolous lawsuit? There is none. Just because someone is an ass, that is not a reason to lose your license. If it were, most of the top law firms wouldn't have any lawyers in them.

AGuyNamedMike 05-03-07 05:28 PM

I didn't call for disbarment, but he should lose his judgeship. He is certainly showing poor judgment as well as utter disrespect for the spirit if not the letter of the law.

arsmith7 05-03-07 06:36 PM

Wow... from the docs on this guy's divorce:

VI. ATTORNEY'S FEES

Husband next contends the trial court erred in awarding legal fees of $12,000 to wife.

We review an award of attorney's fees for an abuse of discretion. See Graves v. Graves, 4

Va. App. 326, 333, 357 S.E.2d 554, 558 (1987).

The trial court found that husband was substantially responsible for "excessive driving
up" of the legal costs by "threatening both wife and her lawyer with disbarment [sic]," and creating unnecessary litigation. Consequently, it awarded wife $12,000 in legal fees to be paid by husband.

Driving up legal fees? You don't say!

porieux 05-03-07 07:50 PM

I think Pearson should be modified so that it is no longer possible for him to wear pants.

Problem solved.
