Diet Coke Plus

No it's not diet coke for us big gals...it's diet coke plus vitamins and minerals! I got to try one of these beauties last night at the hospital. (My mom has diverticulitis ) It really didn't taste bad or different but it kinda caught me off gaurd a bit, knowing that it was good for me (sorta) made me feel weird drinking it.

Anyone else come across Diet Coke Plus yet?

Cool, it has zinc. Now I can cut my cold's duration in half while enjoying a tasty, though slightly metallic, beverage.

Pour this on your Total, and you'll soon be well on your way to developing some sort of superpower.

Good. Now, even though I know that the phosophorus in soft drinks is leaching calcium from my bones, I can rest assured that it is being replaced at the same time.

Any hard evidence anywhere that the net result of this soda is actually "good" for you or is it really just slightly less damaging?

or maybe more damaging that the liver has to deal with the extra crap added in

This is a genius move by Coke. Pure genius. So now all those folks who have been trying to kick their habit now have a reason to drink even more Coke. That's fucked.

Start putting vitamins and minerals in ring ding's and ho ho's as well as my Jim Beam. Please!!!

Vitamins in a drink featuring Aspartame/Sucralose or any other fake sugar/chemical kinda cancels itself out.

It's not bad, I doubt I could tell the difference between it and regular diet coke.

There's a thousand websites that agree with him. It HAS to be true.

Yes you can. You just have to chase it with beer after 6:00 pm.

Kitty, you still a lightweight where alcohol is concerned? I remember we used to have that in common.

So it tastes the same? Hard to imagine, I can usually taste the vitamins in vitamin-enhanced drinks, but maybe I'll give it a shot.

Why would Jim Beam need vitamins? It already kills germs and makes for a healthier heart, in moderation... or something. Plus if you get shot, you don't reach for a Coke to dump over the wound. You're reaching for Jack or Jim.
