USPS Change of Address Question...

Hey all. I am graduating college next month and am moving from Texas to Minnesota (home) for 2 weeks until I find and move into an apartment in SoCal the end of May. I'm wondering if I can change my address two times in such a short period. It says on the USPS website that it may take 10-12 days to receive your mail once it's started being forwarded. By the time it starts arriving in MN, I will have already moved to CA.

I need it to go somewhere after I leave Texas. What I planned on doing is forwarding it to MN until I have a CA address.

I looked on the USPS website for something regarding this but couldn't come up with anything.

Any ideas?!

I think you can have them put it on hold for a while and then forward it.

Go to your local post office and ask their...

Q: How do I get my accumulated mail when my hold ends?
A: You have two options to get your accumulated mail. You can pick up your mail at your local Post Office or your Letter Carrier can deliver your mail on the ending date you specify.

I'm not coming back to Texas to get my accumulated mail.
Any other ideas?

Why not just change your address to MN for a couple months and have your parents forward the mail to you?

Duran wins!

I can't imagine someone at the post office being helpful. Whenever I go there the line is out the door, and if you called, would you even get a person?

Do what Duran said. Change your address to MN now, and when you move to CA, change it again. Anything that doesn't get forwarded to CA will at least get forwarded to MN. Your parents can then forward it on to you in CA, every couple of weeks or something. It's what I did when I was in a situation such as yours.
