Otter wisdom: what have you learned?

Aside from the proper receptacle for urination or how to accept your lottery winnings, what wisdom have you gained from the Otters?

It can be anything, great life advice, something funny, a fact you never knew, installation instructions from OldDude, or whatever.

I'll start with something I found useful from one the fine ladies here, mrs. nesbit.

As far as divorce goes I think you should ask your friend to take some time to himself a few questions:
1. Does he still love her?
2. Does she love him?
3. Why is their relationship the way that it currently is?
4. Is there anyway to change the relationship or will it be like this forever?
5. Could he change things in his own life (job, friends, hobbies) where he could be happy with the relationship even if it did not change much?
Also, I think it was Buford that said it in one of the tipping threads, that to get the tip amount you just take the tax amount and double it. Thought that was very useful and had never thought of that.

So, your turn...

I learned you should always pee in her butt. That seems to solve a lot of problems relationship wise.

Normally, you would receive high praise and credit for this response, but if you read the OP's first post:

I've learned to take pleasure in the little things in life--like that jolt of superiority I feel when I watch someone who deserves it getting tazed.

I've learned what YEAT means and that YACT, while technically an acronym, works better as a word denoting shock and dismay.

I've also learned that no matter how worked up you get about political differences, people feel the way they feel and are not going to change their minds and getting along without mincing personal beliefs is a lot more fun. That if I feel the need to, to take jabs at what irks me and not at a particular person.

And who Minor Threat's daddy is.

Don't let that secret get out though. The Political forum might go out of business.
