I'm kinda ashamed... (Zombie related)

...and try as I could to be manly, I just couldn't help it and was reduced to a whimpering, sniveling, girly-man!

You see...

I had my very first TERROR PACKED-ZOMBIE DREAM the other night, and let me tell ya, it scared the HOKEY BEE-JESUS OUTTA ME!!!

Now sure, Treesa has woken me up in the middle of the night from time to time, all sweaty and outta breath, and crying and ranting and raging on and on in terror about her so called, "Horrifying Experiences" with Zombies in her dreams, and even though I sat up and held her in my arms and comforted and assured her that everything was going to be all right, I just basically blew it off as some silly little girl, blabbering her giddy womanly stuff and thought to let it ride, but let me tell ya...

(...and I'm sure many of you out there may think it's nothing to get upset about, However...)

I WAS NEARLY SCARED TO FRIGGIN' DEATH!!!

And I'm NOT KIDDING!!!

I mean, I was sweating, and my heart was pounding, and chest was hurting, and (as much as I hate to admit it) I was literally "(((trembling)))" and I felt faint, and IT WAS SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE!!!

WHAT THE **** is UP with THAT???

There I was, just minding my OWN business, falling to sleep in my soft and squingy, 3x memory foam topper bed, cuddling close to my little hunny bunny (Aka: Tree), and sweetly entering into the dream world, I found myself comfortably relaxing one night in our apartment, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN & FROM OUTTA NOWHERE, I'm being scratched and pawed at by these stinking, rotting, ragged undead son's of B******, breaking down the door and losing limbs and skin while crashing through our windows!

...and when we finally get the HELL away, and I'm sitting safely in the bathroom with the door heavily barricaded, the filthy bastards start BREAKING RIGHT THROUGH THE DAMN WALLS!!!

I couldn't believe the fear I was experiencing!

...THEY JUST DON'T STOP UNTIL THEY GET WHAT THEY'RE AFTER!!!

I never knew a dream could be so heart-stopping serious!

GOOD GAWD... &

(I can laugh now...)

Ever had a Zombie Dream?

Oh, and BTW: Long time no blab, Everybuddy!

How ya all been, anyway?

I'm still hangin' in there and hope all is well with you and the ones you Love...

Your friend & mine,

-Paul (Aka: , Tek, THEEK!, That Idiot, etc...)

Just give it up and be subsumed into the zombie masses. They'll get you in the end anyway. Then you can relax and get a good night's slee......Oh wait. Zombies never sleep, do they?

Perhaps they just grab a few zzzzzzzz instead?

You shouldn't be ashamed to be related to a zombie. Most of the undead have living relatives somewhere.

Just think about holding a shotgun w/ unlimited ammo as you drift off each night. This way you'll be armed the next time those zombies attack.

Same here. It's usually a shovel or something I pick up, but zombie dreams (while scary when happening) are a blast!

The only dreams that leave me with a horrible feeling are ones in which my cat dies.

But zombies? Bring 'em on. (Oh no. I just realized I'll probably have a My Cat Is A Zombie dream.)

Hey Paul, it's good to see you again, yada, yada, yada.

Now you know we are all big boys and girls here, so a word like 'heck' does not have to be censored.

And even though we may not show it, we are still pretty smart over here, so most of us know that Bauhaus was a German school of design in existence from 1919 to 1933, so please don't treat us like unknowing children.

But we do have standards here in The Other and the 'b' word is not an acceptable term to use in here. You could have said "slip me the 911 on this Zombie Dream stuff" or whatever the young people are saying these days.

So welcome back, I look forward to your posts, but please remember The Other Etiquette with regards to those 'naughty' words.

Thank you,

the Management wanabee

Chris

I thought it was in the random picture thread but I couldn't find it. I'm sure it's there as I only went through 4 pages of that thread before I got bored.

I have a feeling, that due to support from us, that theek's next zombie dream is gonna be a walk in the park.

Just chant this mantra while keeping a mental image of your favorite weapon in your head.

"the zombie is slow while I am fast" (It helps if you imagine your voice sounds like David Carradine.)

THEEK:

I kept a copy of this in my "second office" (bathroom) for about a year. I've read it cover-to-cover and have a mental plan for what to do once the shuffling of the undead begins to take the world over.

I suggest you read it so you too can be readily prepared.

I guess I was having a dream two nights ago that someone was knocking on my bedroom door at 2:12 am. I remember jumping up in bed, heart beating, kind of stunned and waiting for another knock and looking at the clock. I then hid under the covers till about 3 am when I got up. Last time that happened my mom had a stroke and died.
