Syrup: How do YOU say it?

The egg beaters thread reminded my about this. Apparently I pronounce it differently then my wife and her family, although the pronunciation thing at Webster's has both pronunciations.

So how you you pronounce the maple goodness you pour onto bacon?

Sear-e-up...my daughter said it this way as a toddler and it has stuck for the entire family for years.
