Beer-Lagunitas brewery

I don't know how many people here can get their beers, they are based out of Petaluma, California, but I think they are my favorite brewery! Every beer I've tried of theirs has been, at worst, drinkable. Most of them have been very good. Anyone else feel the same way?

Haven't been there, but the IPA is great. That might be the only one I've had...

The IPA is quite good. Not my favorite, but I drink it often.

Can't argue with that hearty endorsement!

But I'll stick to the breweries that make excellent beers, thank you.

The IPA used to be really good, but its been inconsistent the past year or so.

But lagunitas is what I usually get since my real favorites aren't typically available at common grocery stores.

I really, really want to try this:

Last night, I has some Drake's Whoamback Imperial IPA, and woah almighty that was some good stuff!!

my favorite breweries are Stone and Speakeasy.

They are the only brewery that I haven't had a bad beer from... the one that I would place as only drinkable is their pilsner. It is literally the only pilsner that I've had that I liked at all.

I don't call any beers excellent...

Thanks for the recommendation. I just called my local bar to get a keg or two of it in (the bar manager told me that he'll get in any beer I want.)

Hop heavy beers are damn dangerous...

I have had few that are good, none great.

I have had many that are horrible, some undrinkable.

Some people like that flavor, but they are few and far between.

Lagunitas is a great brewery, and I have had hundreds of their brews, being 20 miles from the town in question...but I always question a hop heavy brew...opinion only, of course.

I would love to try some Lagunitas, but it's not distributed here. Will eventually trade for some on RB.

See, this is the beauty of having the bar get it instead of buying it on my own. If I don't like it after the first pint I'll just order something else.

Damn, I can't even get my boss to buy better beers... although I'm not allowed to drink there anyways (even on my days off).

Maybe someone can help me convince my boss we need to change some of our beers out!

I work at a pizza place and we have:
Coors Light
Bud Light
Bud
Fat Tire
Red Nectar Amber
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

I think we should get rid of one of the lights and Fat Tire (with the Red Nectar we have two ambers and just about every place in town has Fat Tire). I think we should get an IPA (from a local brewery, we don't have any currently and there are at least 5 breweries within an hour). And a microbrewed lager or maybe have a rotating seasonal tap. He doesn't want to change things though...

Lagunitas is generally known for producing pretty good beer. The brewery has many beers rated in the 90th percentile at RateBeer.com - heck, their worst rated beer still scores a 70, which is respectable in and of itself:

Perhaps you just haven't tried a style that you like yet.
