Anyone else eat Kashi Go Lean Crunch?

In the attempt to lose 10 lbs I have ate a bowl for breakfast and lunch the past 3 days. And damn, they should call it Kashi Go Lean Laxative.

Kashi has a way of making me fart a lot. So I eat it before big meetings with people too afraid to say anything.

Mopower doesn't usually have much fiber in his diet, I guess.

It's tasty stuff, though. Try it with soymilk, you get even more gas power.

My GF eats the non-crunch variety. The crunch! variety is quite edible (at least in my opinion), while the non-crunch variety is just god awful.

I enjoy most Kashi products, but like Dave, it gives me the gas so I avoid it for the most part.

Just about any high fiber/all natural cereal has that effect on me. I've had Kashi before...it's good, but I prefer granola cereals with oatmeal. That will get you moving!
So, OP...how long are you doing this for? I've done things like this before, but I'd eat cereal for breakfast and dinner. It usually makes the pants a little looser, but I never lose enough where other people really notice.

Did you like Special K? I lost a lot of weight when I started eating SK, plus a healthy overall diet.

I did this myself, but with oatmeal. (the plain kind)

every single day, a bowl of hot oatmeal. and you can practically set your watch by your bowl movements, nice and regular.

you can lose weight and clean up your cholesterol alot with oatmeal, it is great.

Overrated. I've lost weight with the same type of diet, but with completely different cereal. It's not like Special K is the ONLY cereal you could eat to lose weight.

2 years ago I weighed 249lbs. Finally had enough. I started eating Kashi and fruit for breakfast and lunch. Ate a reasonable dinner. (like slimfast says to) and ran 10-12 miles a week. It took about 8 months and I was down to 185lbs. I stayed around 190lbs for a while. But this years been rough I'm up to 200lbs. Too much Ben & Jerry's and Newcastle. So I'm back on the Kashi regiment. It's really the only thing I can eat that fills me up so I'm not snacking in between meals. It works. Bad side is it makes you gassy for a few days when you start eating it all the time. Really gassy. Like stomach cramp gassy.

I like the way it tastes. And I don't get the farts.

I didn't say it was the only, but it worked for me.

I eat it. Have to make sure you stick with the single serving though. Any extra and you pay the price! And it helps to keep going with the high fiber thing every day. Take a few days off and it ain't pretty that first day back on.
