Difference between this and the earlier Enzo crashes?

Spoiler:
In this case, the car was worth more than the driver.

Spoiler:
The drivers were both criminals. Eddie Griffin's crime was Who Made the Potatoe Salad?

There seemed to be absolutely no reaction by anyone to that incident. I guess that goes to the first spoiler by The Bus - the real damage was already done and apparent.

Was that a dummy behind the concrete barriers or the toughest man alive?

Had that been me, the reaction would have been much different...

He should stick to the 24 inch rimed Escalades.

It would be funnier if that were Michael Richards' Enzo.

Man, I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me in Gran Turismo (just not in an Enzo).

Now is that Enzo trash like the other ones? It doesn't look as bad as the other wrecks.

Can it be repaired, or is it just one less Enzo in existance?

If it were my Enzo, there'd be one less abrasive comedian in existance.

I think the news said it was totaled. All I saw was alot of front end damage which you would think could be repaired (although it would be an expensive repair). Heck the engine alone must be worth a huge chunk of change and the engine IS IN THE REAR.

The video on CNN seemed as if he was going slow. I think it would be hard to buy a car like that even if I had all the money in the world. I freaking park my 99 civic Si away from everyone to not get door dings.

According to CNN it's toast

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Movi....ap/index.html

The Enzo, valued at around $1.5 million, was owned by the executive producer of "Redline," Daniel Sadek, whose exotic car collection is featured in the movie.

Sadek said that the car was damaged beyond repair and that he had "mixed feelings" about the wreck.

"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK, but my dream car got destroyed," Sadek said. "I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, there's people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world."
What he really thought during those 15 minutes...'I'm about to kill him...slowly'

Too bad he couldn't have been thinking about that when he decided to spend $1.5 million on a freakin' car.

I never really liked the Enzo. I always thought the F40 and F50 looked a lot better. Sucks for whoever owns that car, I heard there's only hundreds in circulation.

I'm sorry but that video is funny. If I were Eddie I would've at least faked back and neck injury for sympathy. Because you know people care more about the car than him.

To be honest I can't even fake giving a shit about another overpriced car getting totalled. Don't want your car wrecked, dont' race it. Besides, shouldn't his insurance cover this?

Cover it how? He can't buy a new one. The Enzo has a population lower than most endangered species. And we've had how many crashes? Two? Three?

I'm sure it's insured to the hilt and that the owner can afford seeing it wrecked.

The Enzo's not very good looking, IMO. I saw one in Naples, Florida last month: it's bigger than I thought and sort of ungainly looking. Having said that, the SOUND that that V12 makes is dead sexy. It sounds like an F1 car.

Here's what the Enzo should have been:

Pininfarina P4/5.

That was bad. If I owned a car that expensive, I'd never let anyone else drive it.

He openly admitted he couldn't drive after the wreck. Did anybody happen to ask him before they let him behind the wheel?

He's a celebrity. There's nothing they don't know or can't do.
