I work as a full-time clerk in the meat department at a Northeast-based supermarket chain. This July will mark my 11th anniversary with the company, seven years of which have been spent as a full-timer.

I have a degree in psychology from the University of Kansas and had been working in childrens' social services for nearly 10 years. 1.5 years ago I quit my job in mental health and went back to school to get my teaching license. I'm student teaching now and will be licensed to teach K-6 in June.

EDIT: Funny that this came up just now, as I'm taking a break from changing the format of my resume from a typical social work one to an education style.

I sit in my pajamas all day.

I'm a web developer with my own business. I work at home and have done so since I graduated from college in 2001.

I have never had a boss. I started freelancing with various computer skills when I was 15.

I have a BA in Art from the University of Washington. I forget what the actual wording is... Visual Studies or something like that. I started as a computer science major but playing with clay was more fun.

I eat a lot of crackers and just had some plain saltines, preceded by some sort of wheat cracker that I put cream cheese and smoked salmon on.

I do have meetings occasionally, most of which take place at Starbucks.

I started working as a technical editor at a networking hardware company three months ago. I work at home, and I really enjoy it.

Before this job, I worked as a technical writer and editor for a small software company, but since the company was so small I also did some tech support and even a bit of sales. I worked there for 5 years.

I'm a 2006 graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in History.

I'm at my first job as a Litigation Support Analyst. I work at a relatively small but fast growing company, offering document services, Tiffing, OCR, coding/indexing, and web hosting and Electronic Data Discover. Friday we landed a big contract which is great news. I'm pretty new to this stuff, so I'm hoping the certifications the company paid for me to get pay off! Next week I'll be doing a presentation to a bunch of big-time lawyers on how do use our hosted DB solution.

Operations manager of computer security operations (a CSIRT) for a very large civil government agency. I'm a contractor. 2/20 marked 5 years at my current job although I started out as a junior analyst before working my way up through several positions to BMFIC.

BA Criminal Justice and Spanish, Auburn. About a year and a half in law enforcement before getting into IT/Unix admin, leading to information security positions and the rest is history.

Oh, and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Currently: Student, going to graduate with a MA in Communications, Media & Cultural Studies it looks like, plus over a year in-the-field experience thanks to my college (we do full-time internships and go for 5 years of undergrad rather than 4). My aspiration is to work in either TV or Film Production (as a producer).

My current full-time internship is dealing with marketing & event planning, while it's not the field I want to go into, it's giving me some great skills to work in the production field with.

I'm currently the Senior Network Administrator for Diamond Financial Products, a small startup dealing with the prepaid Mastercard market. I've recently passed my third year working here. I pretty much do everything including, but not limited to, managing linux & windows servers, sql/mysql db management/design, vpn setup, firewall administration, PBX configuration, management, and IVR development, PERL software development, etc...
Before that I spent 3.5 years working for EDS as a UNIX system administrator in their global testing organization and in their GM Customer Assistance Center.
Before that I spent 2.5 years working as a UNIX system administrator for Oakland University's school of engineering.

I received both my bachelors in electrical and computer engineering as well as my masters in electrical engineering from Oakland University.

I work for a major northeastern university in IT/Audio-visual support. I worked for too many years in continuing education doing too much administrative and not enough technical work.

On the side, I produce DVDs for the railroad enthusiast (railfan) market and am part-owner of a hobby shop.
