Do you ever do things backwards?
I've found that, for some odd reason, I seem to do things backwards a lot.
When reading a newspaper article, often without realizing it I read the last paragraph first. Then I read the paragraph before it. And then the one before it. And so on.
Recently I've been watching Seinfeld on DVD. I started with the most recent season and watched it all the way through. I then went back and watched the previous season.
When reading posts on this board, I often start at the last page and work backwards.
Am I crazy?

Other than that, backwards induction is a good method to solve a variety of logic problems. I took part in a recent study of engineers and they found that there was a direct correlation between the degree level of the engineer and the use of backwards induction to solve problems. At the top level (PhD), around 70% used B.I. At the lower level (undergraduates), it was around 20%.

The only thing I can think of that I do backwards, at least for people I know, is add my sugar to the cup before my coffee. I don't see the point in adding it afterwards, and then using something to stir it.
Other than that, I think I do everything normally.
