I've been wanting to go to a Rave my whole life and I'm not getting any younger (45), so now's the time to do it. $90 is a lot, but they have some of my favorite DJs there and 3 dance tents, so I know I will have a hard time deciding which tent to go to.

I just hope I can make it to 3, or 4 or 5 in the morning. Gotta get some sleep on Sunday afternoon.

Did you purchase tickets yet? If not, use the coupon code BIRDY if you order online. You'll get $5 off.

Chris
You will probably be 1.5-2.0x older than the average person there. I agree with abs...you'd be most picked for, "Spot The NARC". Speaking of....I am up in the northeast and have been hearing radio spots for a party in Philly I think, and it said 17 to enter, 21 to drink....ACK!!! 17?! Good lord....i'd be asking for driver's licenses before offering to buy a drink or stick my tongue down their throat....and maybe not in that order.

S&D...pretty decent live.
AVB....very good live.

I don't think I know the other DJs.

I've been a DJ for many years and I love EuroHouse / Trance music. They won't be able to keep up with me, seriously.

In general, I don't remember names very well. I have probably heard them before, but who knows. Hell, i've gone out on dates with women who I forget their name......I blame the alcohol.

I'm going to a neighborhood dive bar, to support an old gal pal's local bar band.

Nothing too exciting, but I suppose it beats another LOTR marathon.

We are having our annual college friend gathering...this time in S. FL. We pick a city each year, and everyone flies in for a weekend. I'll be nice and intoxicated for most of the weekend...so I'll wish everyone an early happy New Years.

Does your boyfriend like Euro, Trance, and Raves too?

Just kidding! I like many forms of Electronica myself.

I'll be on the Freeway headed too work for a 1am -9am shift. The 405 Freeway is on the "westside" of LA so the areas it goes through on my route are generally nice and I won't have to dodge as many bullets being fired at 12a.

My wife and I didn't really have much planned, other than a quiet night of just being together.

However, a friend of mine who I haven't seen for 12 years is coming down tonight and is going to stay till Tuesday. I'm extremely excited to see him, as he was my best friend growing up. He is visiting family about 6-8 hours from here and I was going to drive up there to visit him on Wednesday, but his dad is driving to Miami tonight and will pass right near here, so he offered to drop him off and pick him up on the way back.

So, now NYE will probably consist of us bullshitting and playing video games just like we did when we were kids.

Nothing

I was supposed to go to a friend's house to drink and play games. But, she now has to work. So, I will probably end up alone at my house watching movies or playing video games. My life sucks

We usually don't do anything for NYE as something bad always happens. I swear the date has an evil mojo. However, we found a baby-sitter this year and are going to party at a friend's house. It should be nice and small - about thirty people, of which I should know about 75%. Now the wife and I just need to get over these head colds.

For years I worked in restaurants and then limousine service so I always worked on New Years eve. By the time I didn't have to work, we had kids so at most we might end up at a friends house. I prefer to stay home. I don't like driving when I know many people have been out drinking.

I am having 3 boys over to spend the night with my son. We are going to the movies and then back here to shoot fireworks. We are going to have a shrimp boil and then watch jackass. And a lovely lady I met last week is going to join us.
