Is E-Commerce still worth it?

Basically you work with the people to get products at cheaper prices because you are the middle man and you correspond directly with the company who makes the product. I know in the 90s it was huge before the .com bust. I have not made a committment yet, but I have a friend who is trying to get me into it. Anyone done this before? Am I better off just finding a 2nd "regular" job, and make money that way?

E-commerce is HARD

My dotcom survived the bubble bursting in 2000 and it takes a long time for the rewards to appear.
