So a girl called me a "bro" at a concert last night...

Alright here's the little story, I was up front at a heavy metal show tuesday night, and this really short girl was standing next to me (she was maybe 5'1) her eyes were barely above the barrier. Anyways while the second to last band was setting up she leans over and says "hey bro, when your like rockin out and all can you try not to elbow me in the face, alright bro?" I can undertand that, but I couldn't tell if of said it in that kind of hitting on me kind of way, or if thats just the way teenage girls talk now adays. After the band got done, she told me "yo bro, thanks for that." She didn't seem like she had another guy there, and she was with a few of her girl friends, so should i have tried to say something back and or tried to get her number. She was kinda cute, but she looked a little young and or underage for me (I'm 21) and do kind of need someone right now.

Also, I feel like some dude raped me during the show cause everyone pushed forward for the last 2 bands, and he was litterally leaning on me, his elbow was in my back (my back still hurts like shit) and because I was on the rail the entire time, my ribcage hurts too. Also I could swear that i could feel his uh equipment for alot of the show.

do girls not talk to you often? But seriously. She called you bro. What if she called you dude, buddy, captain, chief, etc. I wouldn't look too much into the fact she called you bro.

I got elbowed in the face at a show once.

I remember once I protected a girl at a show once. I didn't know her but we were on the open floor right in front of the stage and the mosh pit was behind us. She was small so I let her get in front of me next to the stage and when the crowd would surge forward every few minutes I would take most of the hit and push back. Since she was in front of me she got to enjoy the show without being smashed against the stage and I got....absolutely nothing but a "thanks" and this story.

Fuckin' selfish bitches.... I gotta stop being nice to women unless I'm garan-dam-teed a "pay off".

If she'd said "Hey douchebag, quit ****ing elbowing me in the face!" you'd probably be at third base by now.

Sometimes a bro is just a bro.

I almost got into a fight at Bocktoberfest this past Saturday for the stuff you described the guy doing. I completely understand that personal space goes out the window at a concert, but this guy would drift away from his friends where there was plenty of space and somehow lean against me so hard that if I shifted, he would stumble into the girl that I was there with. F'n drunk people.

Awww yes, the old "protect the girl in hopes to get laid" technique...Never works. Just keep elbowing her in the face.

Here's a police artist's sketch of the girl in question:

At 21, "underage" is whatever the state law is, bro.

I too could not understand why this was worthy of a thread.

bro? I have a couple of very close friends I call bro, and have been called bro by some biker acquaintances in the past. What kind of teenage girl says "bro"?

KRAMER: So, how you feeling?

FRANK: Tired.

KRAMER: Uh huh. Your back hurt?

FRANK: How did you know?

KRAMER: Well, it's obvious, you know. You're carrying a lot of extra baggage up
there.

FRANK: (looks down, and indicates his chest) Up here?

KRAMER: Oh, yeah. Top floor. (sits beside Frank) Listen, Frank, have you ever
considered wearing something for support? Now, look at this. (reaches into his
pocket) Mind you, this is just a prototype.

Kramer brings out a garment constructed of canvas and elasticated fabric.

FRANK: You want me to wear a bra?!

KRAMER: No, no. A bra is for ladies.

Kramer holds the garment up to his own chest.

KRAMER: Meet, the bro.

Everyone knows that if a girl talks to you, that means she wants to have sex with you. Didn't you get the memo?
