From the picture, I'd say that it was an AMD Athlon XP 1700+ with a Soyo motherboard (AS-A750). Probably paid $159.95 for it from Fry's in early 2002.

Just a guess though.

originally was a athlon 600 or 650 and later upgraded to 950. i believe it was sometime back in 2000. i think the cost was somewhere around 200-300 for the mobo/cpu. i rarely ever use it as it's slow as hell nowadays, and leave it there for guests to use.

Now if you just leave the refridgerator door open you could ice skate like Tom and Jerry!

In all seriousness, that sucks. Your kitchen should be fine seeing as it looks like linoleum (sp?) but that carpet in the living room will probably need to be replaced. Hopefully you won't have a problem with mold or mildew in the near future.
