Halloween costume ideas

Ok, I'm not a big fan of Halloween. I mean, I appreciate cool costumes and all, but I have just never been that into it. But it looks like I am going to a bash next Friday and need a costume.

I don't want to spend a lot of money, and I don't want to do a lot of work. I'm looking for the costume that is more about the idea than the production (for ex., pinning a bunch of clothes to yourself and being "static cling").

So, who's got a good one?

You know a joke is funny when you have no idea who the person is or why they are speaking Australian and you laugh anyway.

Good show Groucho!

I'm going as Snakes on a Plane. Gonna get a white hoodie, paint it with plane decals, and then put a variety of rubber snakes on me. I'll probably write "Motherfucking" on the backs of the snakes too

You should staple a whole bunch of pieces of clothing to yourself and go as static cling.

Ok I got nothing.

I took a page from the Pythons for a party; wore shorts and a trenchcoat I already had, with a sign saying 'boo' around my neck. Low cost, low frills, got some laughs [no one recognized the reference].
Can't find a pic, but here's the source material.
"Cut to tracking or hand-held shot down street, keeping up with extremely shabby man in long overcoat. His back is to the camera. He passes two pepperpots and a girl. As he passes each one he opens his coat wide. They react with shocked horror. He does this three times, after the third time he turns to camera and opens his coat wide. He has a big sign hanging round his neck, covering his chest. It says 'boo'."
[although I wasn't shabby].

One of my least-inspired costumes at work was a plastic name tag that said "CLONE". meh.

My coworker found a noose that sticks up from the neck, with a horse mask. He then found a brown apron, and sewed a fake dick on to go underneath the apron. He tells people he's hung like a horse.

He said it went over well last year, so he's doing it again this year.
