Anyone else scared by those American Haunting ads on this site?

They're usually between the first and second posts in a thread. A scary ghost pops out when you run your mouse over it! It scares me!

All I know is that there's a couple of these ads that say click to see the trailer, but nothing happens when you click on it.

I use the scroll wheel on my mouse and frequently I get the scream while I'm scrolling through threads. It's not scary but it is frustrating and annoying.

You misspelled "annoyed"...

Still better than the Feardotcom ads.

It screams, too? Holy shit, that would scare the fuck out of me if I wasn't at work!

I'm constantly freaked out when I accidentally move my mouse over one of the AIM ads and some guy starts rapping really loudly.

Every time I see them, and that image flashes, I think of that Amish shooting. The apparition that appears looks Amish....

goddamnit it just got me and made me jump. Now I'm mousing over it back and forth like a turntablist and making the ghost dance herbie hancock style.

Not scared by them, but annoyed. They go off sometimes even when you are just moving he mouse around the screen despite the ad being 6 or 8 posts up. The other day I opened up my laptop in class and just went to go open a new tab and the thing kept repeating at full volume. It was quite embarassing. I thought my laptop was muted, but I guess not.

I'am oblivious to advertising in any form. It does say it is a TRUE STORY. I wonder what that means??? Like someone made up a story, hence forth it is true that someone made up this story.

any way someone can stick up one up here? I haven't been on in a couple of days.

I know those stupid new Texas Chainsaw Massacre ones gave my heart palpitations. Something about Leatherface close up. URrrgh.

I'm not liking the Grudge 2 ones either. Never mind that it's a crap file, I'm sure.
