halloween party, need costume ideas

Preface: I don't usually do halloween parties; I hide low in my house or goto a bar.
At a new job with new friends and I was invited to a halloween party with a forced costume rule. Need some simple ideas of what to do. I don't want to go all out with a store bought costume, don't want to get something
uncomfortable or easily ruined by drinking.
The willy wonka idea I saw in the mllefoo thread was bad ass. Sadly, I could not pull it off.
thanks,
-b.

squidget, how old are you? do you look your age? (I have one costume I liked simply because I don't look anywhere near my real age)

Also, being female you should clarify. Sexy or scary costume?

can you do cartwheels? going as a tetris piece and doing them would be great (more so if you can get some of your co-workers to go as other pieces)

Take a garbage bag and cut holes for the head and arms. Glue a bunch of leaves to it.

Sounds retarded right? A family friend apparently did this a few years back and it was a hit.

How about dress up in swimsuit? You can say you work for Baywatch.

If you decided to wear that, please post the pic!

Find a pie tin, cut out the center and put it around your neck. Wrap your head in aluminum foil (cutting out a space so you can see helps), say you're a bag of Jiffy Pop.

Kill someone and carve their skin off. Wear the skin and go as the person you killed.
