Exploding Soda Cans, does it happen often to you?

I keep my soda in a drawer next to my tiny-ass mini-fridge, because, well, I only have room for a few cans at a time. I always put in a warm can after I take a cold one out. Today, I opened the drawer, the cans slide away from me slightly, and one exploded. Diet caffeine free pepsi went all over the place.

I once pulled a Dr. Pepper from the freezer (so it was colder faster) and the thing blew up in my face like a damn bomb. Dr. Pepper everywhere! on me, on the cabinets, on the ceiling. Hell, I bet the current owners of that house are still finding dried Dr. Pepper residue in unusual places.

One winter I forgot about a can of soda in my car someone had given me... The next morning I came out to a bit of a mess. Thankfully the arm rest was down and the can was under it, or it would have made a bigger mess than it did. Most of it stayed in the holder area and was actually starting to freeze in there.

I left a case of coca-cola in the trunk of my car parked at the airport for three days last July. Not the brightest thing I've ever done. However, it was amusing hearing the cans pop as I drove home.
