Does popping bubble wrap bring you pleasure?
I admit that when I was younger I enjoyed popping bubble wrap. Not those piddly little bubbles, I liked the girthy air-filled goodies.
Bigger is better!
So I did it for a bit but became bored. Now I almost never do it.
Have I lost my innocence or just become too good for such tomfoolery?
A co-worker has a mother that still loves to do it. If a package comes to work with bubble wrap she always asks if she can bring it home to her mother.
I'm guessing she doesn't have much in her life.
So how about you?

It's great fun when you're traveling through LA at night.

I voted "no" because it's really annoying, but I kinda left out the pleasure-in-annoying-others factor. At my old job, we got it in the big industrial rolls. We'd roll out several yards of it at a time and then just go running across it. It was loud enough to hear through the entire building.

That reminds me of the noise that I made while working at a retail store. Once a year they'd change out all of the fluorescent bulbs and I got to dispose of them in the dumpster. They were too large to fit so I had to take a baseball bat to the box they were in.
Damn that was loud.

Finally, you can use that baseball bat you've been carrying around with you for so many years.

From NCMojo who is too busy to darken my little thread. *sniff
Yes, I do. I like to sit in my room, way after bedtime, and imagine that each little bubble represents the hopes and dreams of one little faceless someone out there in the dark night. Pop, pop, little wishmaker! Pop, pop.

Not nearly as fun as popping pimples, squeezing blackeads, taking out ingrown hairs, and pulling scabs.

"Spend my nights with a role of bubble wrap
Pop, pop - hope no one sees me gettin' freaky" -- "White And Nerdy" - 'Weird Al' Yankovic
My dad LOVES bubble wrap. I used to sell lots of junk on ebay and buy bubble wrap only to find out my dad had popped it all.
There was an office supply store here going out of business, I bought 3 rolls for $1, and gave them to him. He started popping right away...
