Out of curiosity, why would you want an alternative? I'm all for variety and choice, but snopes really is the standard (and best) for debunking bullshit. It's not like it's an evil money-digging monopoly.

For fun, try defending this priceless Straight Dope Classic about aspect ratios in the DVD forum.
