Are you or have you ever been a member of a comedy troupe?

I just saw Super Troopers for the first time last night and it inspired me to start this thread.

If you were/are a member of a comedy troupe, what sort of warm-up games did you play? (I don't want this to be a discussion of the film, but it seemed to me that the one scene where the guy tries to say "meow" at least ten times would be a good warm-up game for a troupe.)

Also, if you're so funny that you were/are part of a comedy troupe, why I'm not laughing right now?

I was a member of an improv group in HS. Good times. I left me funny there when I left.

I've previously been in Comedysportz, which is more like structured improv.

I'm too funny to be slowed down by a troupe.

I have a buddy who has been in Comedysportz for years. I love CSz.

It's a little early in the morning for me. I totally missed the question in the original post.

The main game we would use for warm-up was "What are you doing?" One person yells "What are you doing?" at the other person while acting out the last answer given. Basically it forces you to do one action while thinking about something else, thus preparing you for the workplace.

Unless you count the little gaggle of smartasses who sat together in social studies my junior year, then no, I can honestly say I have never been a member of the Communist P -- I mean, a comedy troupe.

If those are the kinds of jokes you make, I can see why.
