Cute little critter

Went to the Bronx Zoo yesterday because of my wife's corp. weekend. We get in for free. It was hot as hell so we didn't stay long. The lazy ass bears, polar bears, tigers, lions, peacocks, and the rest of the other animals was too busy sleeping and the bird house is closed for renovation. So I didn't get to take many pics.

Red Panda

Got a cool shot of a cardinal that was flying around the pathway

That panda is awesome! Looks like he's pretty warm, too.

A hot day at a reptile zoo would be great. They get more active.

Lazy friggin' Mammals.

On a side note, I hear going to the zoo on rainy or cool days is best because many animals like the rain and others loke the cool weather. So you'll see more activity.

Corp. weekends are always in the summer. I'm too cheap to go on a normal weekend.

That is a panda? Wow.. very cute looking.

At first, I thought it was a picture of a fox or similar animal.

Panda in name only. Got its name because it shares the same thumb as the giant panda, but it is actually closer related to a fox. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Panda

Too bad you didn't get that good view from a sniper's scope. You'd have yourself a fine fur hat right now.
