Perhaps the Worst (And Funniest) MySpace Page

I was checking out someone's profile today and saw this guy leave a comment. I noted the name and the fact that he looks like the chubby white kid even I gave crap to in high school. Well, his page is classic.

First, there's the pictures. I didn't know anyone seriously wore those "No Fat Chicks" shirts. There's some delicious irony in there, since he's a pretty rotund chap himself. His captions are also priceless, since if he's really "P.I.M.P." then I'm up there with Wilt Chamberlin.

And then last, but not least, there are the "raps." I shouldn't make assumptions, but he doesn't look like he's lived the hard life. As in, drive-bys and 40 ounces aren't "all he knows," as his song of the same name suggests. But give that one a listen all the way through if you can stomach it. Sheer entertainment at the expense of the little doughboy.

"Awww, the lil' kid thinks he's a pimp, how cute! Darla, you raised such an adorable child! Come here lil' kiddy, you want to go beat up some women and steal their money? Oh, aren't you just so cute!"

I see the public school system is working just fine.
"Hey everybody my name is Joseph but i go by DJ JoSweet, the reason why is cause my nickname is JoSweet an my friends told me i needed to come up with a rap name if i wanted to be a rapper so they came up with DJ JoSweet.Well i rap an do r&b but i mostly rap.I came up with this passion when i was about 12 years old an havent stopped sine im now currently 15 an workin on my music i hope one day to be famous.Im not doin this just for the money im doin this for my love of the hip hop world.I was born in woodside queens now for all of you that dont know thats in new york.I moved to florida when i was three years old an that is were i currently live.If you like my music send me a friend request i would love to have a lot of fans for support thank you."

Hey, maybe he'll make it as big as the Stuntaz.

If he doesn't make it as a P.I.M.P. or a mega rap star, I'm sure a promising career in expeditious comestible delivery awaits him [note: I by no means am knocking e.c.d. employees, I have done it more than once--but it's not really a 'career' unless you get into management].

Ok...after reading some random myspace links. Do you have to take an un-spellling test before getting a page?

That said, just for kicks, here is my ex-dog's Myspace.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=76852701
he lives with my brother now and my brother created him a Myspace.

dtcarson,

Yeah, it's quite sad. Especially when you visit random pages and they all spell similarly, say the same things, post the same pics, use the same cliches.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. It wasn't that long ago [referring to a real-world calendar, not a 'net calendar] that everyone had to have their Geocities or Angelfire page, with the same set of animated graphics and "About Me!" page and links. Although I like to think when *we* did it, we could spell. This is the same kind of thing, only moved to one large site.

The more I hear about MySpace, the more resolved I become in my decision to never go there.

And Queens is in New York for the four of you who didn't know. What a tool.

I'm sure he's wondering why his hits have doubled in the last 24 hours.

We can only hope he'll send a shout out to DVDTalk in his next single, "DVDs and Black Jeans, is all I know".

The sad thing is, Lil Jon could probably buy the rights to "When I'm Drunk", re-record it and it would pretty much sound like most of the shit that passes for hip-hop on the radio nowadays.
