Tell me to break my leg

As many of you have suspected, it turns out *I'm* what's hot in entertainment.

After months of blood, sweat and tears, we open tonight! Yeehaw. (Okay, the blood was fake, but the sweat and tears were real.)

Then *next* Friday we open Three Musketeers, where I'm playing Athos, the serious one... We'll be running both plays for the next 6 weeks. If you're anywhere in Central California, come and see me!

In this picture, my wife helps me clean up after a nasty fight with a jar of rasberry jam.

Break a leg, adamblast! You're looking very Shakespearean.

By the way: it's only a comb-over if you push it to the *side*.

"Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time; and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more ..."

Have fun strutting, but don't fret. I bet you'll do fine.

My privates are fairly safe in this production, though I do *give* one knee to the groin in the final fight.

For all the good it does me. (Darn witches tell me I'm invinceable. Why is there always a loophole?)

I've had to let my hair grow since March, and dye everything black. I wear nearly solid black as Athos too, except for the Musketeer uniform cloak. It's my Johnny Cash season.

Or were you talking about my "wife"?

Really? Hmm. Photobucket seems to be acting up today. Here's a regular link to the same photo, it should work, darn it.

Boring answer? I guess no one thing has stuck out in my mind... but I've had plenty of fights go wrong... or found myself stuck in prop-hell for some reason or another. I'm a crappy athlete, so always really nervous about the physical stuff. I had to catch a jumping guy off a trampoline once and missed...

Maybe the worst is the kind of brain-fart where you're just stuck like a deer in the headlights and the words have just disappeared... Fortunately those things happen *less* often in Shakespeare... Hoping someone else will say "something, anything" doesn't work if it's a Shakespeare soliloquy and you're alone onstage...
