You make the Call #2

So to end my PSO promo that I did over the weekend, I had this as my final hand.

Sitting at a $1/2 table with about $70 in chips.

UTG +1 raises 4x BB. All fold to hero

Hero has JJ on the button. Hero calls.

Flop is QJ4 rainbow.

Villian bets ~$15, which is the pot.

What do you do?

I think that there was only one way to play this hand. I reraised $15 to $30. He put me all in and I easily called. Villian has QQ and I do not improve.

Without looking, I'd say min-raise and get him to push with AA, KK, QQ, or AQ.

Unfortunately he had QQ. You're getting felted here regardless, welcome to the wonderful world of Coolers.

I think your play is fine. Hindsight is great, but he could just as easily have had KK or AA.

No way I would be getting away from that hand.

Nothing wrong with your play. You've got the second nuts. I'm happy to get all my money in on this flop. This is just one of those cases that you are going to get stacked. It happens, Nothing you can do about it.
