If you love me, you won't get fat

I think I have heard it all now

Short story, a thin and very pretty girl that works in my office (sorry no pics, too awkward to do) was told by her boyfriend that if she truly loved him that she would never get fat.

- I have now lost all respect for her that she didn't just dump him immediately for saying something that stupid.

He was serious, and she is seriously upset over the comment, but apparently her self esteem is so low (who can figure why, she is a great girl) that she takes that crap and stays with him. She is 24 yrs old.

I agree people should take care of themselves, but will you honestly make it a condition of love? My wife gained weight after having two kids, I guess that means she doesn't love me anymore

I bet there are guys here that agree though love/lust, such a thin line

Not so unreasonable.
I told my girlfriend that if she ever starts aging....... it's over.

The proper response to that is:

No no... If you love me, I won't get fat. Because, when you love someone, they are always "just right".

My wife told me that if she ever got fat, that I could sleep with other women.

I've been married for just over 10 years and, lately, I've been suggesting that we eat at McDonald's every night.

It sounds like she has that unfortunate genetic defect knows as XX chromosomes.

And people wonder why women have such low self esteem and are generally in various states of Mental instability.

Fuck that guy.

I know people who've said the same thing to their wives. No one wants to marry a girl whos skinny and beautiful then have her gain 40lbs a year into the relationship and just continue to get bigger. Fuck that. Marriage isnt a opportunity for the wife to get lazy and get fat now that shes found someone. Everyone whos told their wives that now has a wife that is always working out and is scared to eat too much.

As long as he's staying fit, keeping all his hair, not cheating on her, and keeping his dick hard as he ages then fine. He has every righ to demand his bitch stay thin. Dr Laura is a huge advocate of staying thin for your husband.

I thought the thread title was alluding to an illegal substance or two.

Luckily for some women, some men are not THAT shallow.

I agree. People get married because they love the person and they're attracted to them. If one person suddenly changed their personality, say two very religious people and he discovers strip clubs or porn, they're not the same person. Everyone changes a little, but both people should want to look good for themselves and their partner.

Becoming lazy and fat is basically telling your spouse you're ok with masturbation until death. No one wants to slap a fatty, even another fatty. They settle for some emotional "connection". You need that and stripper heels to make it last.

You know, I don't think it's bad to point out to a SO if they start letting themselves go, but if someone's telling their partner that they better stay skinny or else, when they're already in great shape, that person's either a) a dick, b) a dumbass or c) all of the above.

Hear, hear! I simplified it by getting lazy and fat WITHOUT finding someone. Now I can eat what I want without some clown trying to run my life. It works for me!
