Piece of man's Skull 'Falls Off'

Crazy story. Due to an old injury, a large portion of his skull 'died' and got loose and as he picked at it, He found that it was cracking. Day by day he picked at it and eventually it pulled away from the rest of his skull.

story here

I'm pretty sure that if I discovered that any part of my head was coming loose, I'd get to a doctor.

Maybe he asked an internet message board?

It was probably like a loose tooth: a little sore but the more you wiggle it, the looser it got. The little crackling noises, then POP!

Does anybody else think his skull piece is shaped like Africa? Maybe it is some sort of sign. He should try an sell it to goldenpalace.com, and use the money to buy a plate for his head.

He should eat the piece that sloughed off. Animals in nature do.

I agree, he should eat it.

But the pic looks fake. On his head, the missing piece appears to need to be square shaped. The piece in his hand is shaped like Africa.

Oops, didn't realize someone else pointed out that it looks like Africa.

I think the docs pulled the skin up (or grafted some) over the hole where it came out. You would hope so anyway lol

That piece of skull would be a neat chew toy for a pet dog. Great for conversations when people came over.

He could put it under his pillow, see if a Piece-Of-Skull Fairy exists.

He intends to keep his prized possession for life and not hand it over to the hospital when he leaves: "My skull has made me famous," he says.

But not your brain!

You should be able to earn some real cash from that. It's not like getting 5 bucks from a tooth, it's your freakin' head under that pillow.

Maybe the skull fairy keeps putting quarters in the hole in his head.

Seriously Id be worried about coming up with a tupperware type seal to keep freshness in, bugs out!

Maggots are actually good on wounds--they only eat dead tissue.

Botflies and other nasties (local to India where this man is) are a different matter
