Do you keep your doors locked when in your car?
I was just wondering about this. Today I felt paranoid and locked my car doors, even though I was in it. Do you lock your doors when you're in your car?

And added "feature" of the remote start option on both my truck and car causes the doors to lock after the vehicle is key-started. The minivan auto-locks at ~20mph.

Mrs. Pusser's vehicle also locks when in gear.
If I see a questionable sort walking by my car I crack the window down a touch and yell "LOCKING CAR NOW". Seems to work well.

I lock them as soon as I close the door. It's a habit I kept from my army days when we were cautioned to maintain a high security awareness at all times (Berlin, at the tail end of the cold war, and at a time when the Red Army Faction was still blowing shit up and kidnapping/killing people).

I always lock the car doors, whether I'm just sitting in the car or driving. I also lock the doors opposite my gas tank when at the gas station (you don't want someone sneaking in your car).

I think has to do where you live.
I don't ever lock my doors. Ever. Of course I drive a convertible, so locking the doors just invites more damage to somebody that wants in
