Ever been a member of any fan clubs?

Was in Bantha Tracks when I was younger, the Madonna fan club for a while...and then with the Lucasfilm fan club from 89 til last year.

You?

Anyone ever get anything cool in their kits? or anything offered?

I remember getting a poster and a patch for Bantha Tracks. Madonna you got an "autographed" picture. They all charge ridiculous prices nowadays. Sarah McLachlan's at least sent you a CD every 6 months. Still doesn't justify the price though.

I was a member of the Queen fanclub back in 1976-1977. They were also the first concert I went to back in '76 and my mom drove me (I was 15) and sat next to me at the concert. I wasn't embarassed at all

But it was an excellent concert, as were the 2 or 3 others by them that I went to.

I'm scared to say, the Talkers in the Music Forum will hunt me down and flame me to cinders.

The ones I can remember I think were Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, White Zombie, Misfits "Fiend Club" and X-Files when it first came out.

I wasn't in the fan club, but I did think that Boy George was the most attractive man on the planet. Except for Annie Lennox.

I'm sorry, but I won't be joining. Most of the fun has already left!

Years ago when I was a kid, I was a member of the KISS ARMY. I got one cool poster and a KISS ARMY patch which I assume was for me to sew on my "Denim Rock Jacket" that I didn't have.

I think I got ripped off because I didn't get anything else after that.

One of my favorite movies of the early 80's. I remember sitting in a darkened theater in the summer of '82 with some friends and then this scene came on

and I was and

and have been a fan (not her acting) of Phoebe ever since.
