Health Talk (or, what ails you at present?)

I figured a wide open thread would be a little better than an "I hurt, why?" thread. But anyway, the past day and a half, I've been having an odd pain right off my temple in my head. Not a headache or bruise, just ever so often a quick, sharp pain in a small spot. They'll be like two or three throbs of it, then gone for awhile again. Very strange, and I was wondering if anyone know what I'm talking about or has felt it before?

Okay, since I know no one cares about me, how's everyone else feeling??

My lumbago is acting up. I also suffer from the gout, and have a huge goiter.

Oh wait, that's not me, that's Curly.

My elbow is a bit sore because I chopped down a tree in front of the house a few days ago.

Yeah, a general thread is a sure way to get no constructive feedback on your own issue.

I have a cold, not so severe that I can't be at work, but severe enough that breathing is impaired. I hate it.

Also, I have been suffering for the last nine and a half months with a colleague who brings her baby (now eleven months old) to work. He spends a lot of time screaming (basically whenever she puts him down) and I spend a lot of time doing her work.

That's what you get for trying to cure insomnia with a hammer. See, hammers don't fix everything!

My grandmother would preface her ailments by groaning "Oh, lord. Lordy lord. Oh lord. Groooooaaaan. Lord."

I always knew if she started up with the Oh Lords that I'd better get the hell out of the house or I'd be treated to the old bag's 60 minute litany of ailments and guilt trips.

my tailbone hurts
i feel down the stairs at our house a couple weeks ago, and i was holding payton, so i couldnt brace myself
doctor gave me some decent meds and said there isnt much they can do, so i just get to wait it out
now it pretty much just hurts when getting in and out of chairs, or getting in and out of bed.. but for the first few days, it really sucked.

Sorry for your pain foo.

But you have to admit that that sounds a lot like injuries caused by excessive masturbation.

I'm suffering from Death. My doctor has no encouraging words, but my preacher seems envious.

Yeah didn't someone just suggest Americans should stop shaking hands and switch to bowing like the Japanese to avoid spreading colds?
