Snowed in Los Angeles today

Pretty crazy that this happened. I'm out in La Canada, and it was snowing like crazy. Pretty cool!

You can't even imagine the LA drivers with snow as another obstacle. It's like Halle Berry doing a hit and run... wait she already did that.

It snowed all over the Bay Area down to below 1000' elevation. Caused a 30 car pileup on 101 in Marin and snow is still on the side of the road.

Californians have a hard enough time driving in the rain - Snow in L.A. is pure Darwinism!

From that picture the road doesn't look icy and only seems to be a bit of frost on the side.

Yes, but this is LA. Los Angelinos can hydroplane when there is just rain in the forecast.

There's still snow on the side of the freeway and even in my yard. It's cold and it started raining again.

Yeah. People in the Bay Area *really* forget how to drive if there is any change in the weather. OH MY GOD, IT'S SUNNY! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

Seriously. I grew up around here and even *I* think everyone who gets behind the wheel is completely retarded. Even the people from back east will suddenly forget how to drive in adverse weather conditions around here. There's something the government puts in our water that makes this happen. Unfortunately, that chemical is fat-soluable so even if people leave California, they will not be able to drive correctly for at least 12 months.

Well it happened at 2:30 am. Peolple were driving home from SF, went through a tunnel, and when they came out bam! - it was snowing. That photo was taken severel hours after it happened (obviously) so by that time the snow had melted.

It's near Pasadena. Quite the wealthy enclave, La Canada is. Must have been great justification for all the Hummer owners out there anyway.
