Aging of a family....

Found this via Gapers Block.

On June 17th, every year, the family goes through a private ritual: we photograph ourselves to stop a fleeting moment, the arrow of time passing by.

I guess they like beards. All 4 men in the last photo have them.

Most White Caucasians could look "Middle Eastern", if they have brown eyes, dark hair and can grow a thick beard. And facial hair always make very young men look alot older; a 17 year old youth could pass off as 27, the four sons look alot more like their dad with thick beards.

And I had strong facial hair as relatively early as 16 and when I shave it takes years off of me.

You'd think he would go CRAZY and shave off his moustache/beard one of those years.

the guy has a jewish name and the wife looks like she is descended from european settlers. My guess is his parents came to Argentina sometime around WW2 and the kids took after the mother who's ancestors probably originated from southern spain.

That was really cool and I think the wife aged very well. She's beautiful and to paraphrase a conversation from "The Girl in the Cafe":

Man: She's pretty.
Woman: She's more than that. She's Beautiful.
Man: What's the difference?
Woman: Pretty doesn't last, Beautiful is forever.

Anyway, if I get married again I think I'm going to do the same thing.

it'd be pretty cool to do a series of morphs on those images for a smooth and continuous flow.
