Vault - New drink from Coca-Cola

Anyone tried this stuff?
I bought some today and it reminds me a LOT of Surge (which is definately a good thing). I'm just wondering if it is basically just Surge being re-released under a new name.

From what I've read, this is pretty much the case.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vault_%28soft_drink%29

It is a citrus flavored beverage that contains many of the same ingredients as the Coca-Cola beverage SURGE, which was discontinued in 2002. Due to Vault's similarity to SURGE, representatives of Coca-Cola have given some credit for the release of Vault to SaveSurge.org, a website community dedicated to bringing Surge back to store shelves.

Coca-Cola representatives and the American Beverage Association state that Vault contains 47 mg of caffeine per 8 oz. serving, thus, 70.5 mg per 12 oz. can. This amount is substantially higher than Surge's 52.5 mg per 12 oz. or Mountain Dew's 55 mg per 12 oz.

What kind of name is "Vault" for a soda? Sounds like it should be black, and taste musty.

It sounds to me like it can keep a secret and jump tall buildings in a single bound. Now that's my kind of beverage.

Can't be any worse than this drink from the late 90's called Orbitz.

For those of you who have never seen it, Orbitz is a disgusting fruity drink with little gelatin balls floating in it. Yes, you read that right. A major corporation, Clearly Canadian in this case, has actually released a drink that features little gelatin balls floating in it. In short, it looks very much like a lava lamp, plus you can drink it.

What's wierd about that stuff it that, no matter how much you shake it, or how long it sits on a shelf, those little blobs stay scattered evenly through it. Weird food technology.

I knew it tasted like something I had before, but I couldn't remember the name. Surge wasn't around very long was it? Last time I remember seeing it by me was about 8 years ago. I liked it though.

I really liked orbitz... I like science fun with me beverages. Better than soaking a baby tooth in a cup of coke.

I didn't realize it was new. The stuff is so awful they took them all out of the drink machines at work and gave them away. I thought this stuff had been around for at least a year?

I always wanted to try Orbitz but never saw one for sale.

I like those tapioca ball Asian teas.

Surge was introduced around the time I stopped drinking pop, so I didn't really remember having it to often. Picked up a Vault Zero today and wow... that stuff is awful.

It's just far too citrussy. Granted, I tend to go with just plain Coke Zero and I enjoy that a whole lot--I usually avoid the Mountain Dews and things like that, but I never remember any of those tasting this awful.

I'm choking down this bottle, and I think that will be it for my Vault experience.

Vault?!

At least they didn't go with the original name: The Dungeon..."Dark, Dank and Musty with a Fruity Aftertaste".

BTW, I actually liked Orbitz.
