Mock Portfolios

I'm interested in keeping up with a number of stock recommendations in some mock portfolios. I've done this for sometime, but I feel like I'm making it too difficult on myself. All I want to do is add a stock to a watch list, and track the return/change from that date.

I've tried Yahoo's and Morningstar's, but with their "Watch List" it only tracks the stock daily and not the change from when you added it. To track it from a certain day, you have to put in purchase price, number of shares, etc.

Is there a way to just add a stock to a watch list at whatever the price is at that time and just track the % change? Maybe you can do this with Yahoo, and I'm just missing it.

I guess that's the easiest path to take. I was just hoping that you could somehow just click "add to watch list" or whatever and have it input the current price for you. Not a major inconvenience I suppose. Thanks for the advice.
