Shure E2c vs Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3

I'm trying to decide which pair to go with:

Shure $99.00

Ultimate Ears $99.00

I have $100 GC to burn at Dell, so i'm limited ot their stock. I would be using these primarily for working out.

Opinions?

(This didnt' really fit in Hot Deals or HT, so I posted it here)

i've got the shure E2c's, and they're great. originally bought them for IEMs, but i'm using them with my ipod now too. great quality, comfortable, and it's hard (for others) to tell you have headphones in.

i know you said you want to use your Dell GC, but perhaps you'd want to use it on a better deal at Dell, as the E2c's can be had for $25-$30 less shipped on eBay (new - that's where i got mine).

Well, I have the E2c's as well and they are great. The only thing I might consider is whether or not you need an "in ear" design for working out. They can get a little uncomfortable after awhile, and if you are at a club it isn't a bad idea to be able to hear your surroundings a bit. I use mine mainly while I mow the yard.

I saw a deal at GW for the Ec2's for around $68 or so (not sure if that was the shipped price though). I have another 2 months before my concession expires, so it isn't a rush, but at the same time, I don't really "need" anything from D3LL. I figured the headphones would at least be something I need/want, and it'd cost me tax and a bit of shipping.

Maybe I'll throw some bids out on E-bay and see if anything sticks at a low price point.

Anyone know if/how they fit differently? They look relatively the same shape. Do the Ultimate Ears have interchangable covers too?

had the e2c's the in ear waws not for me, especially at the gym. Sweat builds up in the ear etc... they do back their product though. Mine had a little mishap and they sent me a new pair... so they do stand by the warranty

I placed an order for the e2c's. Hopefully they'll work out. Now if only the new $149 nano comes out...then i'll be SET.
