Northwest Otters: How are you weathering this storm?

Our power just came back about 15 minutes ago... it was out all night.

Looks like we have a tree that's about to go, but not towards our house fortunately. Man, I can't believe the wind gusts right now. Not good with how much rain we've been having the past month.

I have no idea how widespread power outages might be since I just came back online myself. I drove to the store and Starbucks this morning since there was nothing to do and there was a tree that had come down across the major road out of here. Crews had taken care of it sometime in the night though.

Wind is still blowing hard here and I'm sure we haven't seen the last of it.

How 'bout everyone else?

It's pretty damn windy in North Seattle, my lights have flickered a dozen times. The UPS for my computer has actually reset, too.

Either I was really out of it last night or it totally missed Portland.

Anyone else feel the 3.6 quake on Thursday? I thought it was a fat guy falling over when I felt my desk shake, then I looked to my left and saw my plasma move.

I've heard the wind and rain a little outside, but this is pretty mild compared to a good Midwest storm. My power never went out, though.

We are still getting big wind, but I'm just hanging a big old moon out the door daring it to kiss my arse.

We lost power again about 15 minutes after I posted this thread. The good news is, I haven't been able to work today and I've gotten more done in the yard than in the past 4 months.

Trees may be falling easily with the saturated soil, but them weeds is comin' out real nice too.
