Tried the Premium burger at Steak and Shake? Yea or nay?

You guys are so lucky. Two yea or nay threads in the same week!

Anyone tried the Premium burger at Steak and Shake? I almost went for it but used a coupon for a mere mortal double burger.

It supposedly adds three cheeses (all at once?), bacon and something I'm forgetting.

I don't see anything on their website:

Is it worth the extra buck and something?

I don't know. I don't think I've ever eaten at a Steak and Shake. Can I get a Steak Shake? That might not be so good.

I miss Steak and Shake, my waistline is probably better for it though.

Just a tip: be careful about giving them incorrect change at the drive-thru window.

Mushrooms was one of the things I was forgetting.

There are few things better in this life than a Steak n' Shake "Philadelphia" (Double STEAKBURGER™ patties with grilled onions, green peppers and Cheddar cheese sauce), fries, a side of chili and a chocolate shake.

We tried to go to our local SnS on Sunday, but there was a line at the door, the manager was bussing tables (s-l-o-w-ly), and they appeared to be horribly short-staffed.

Went to Culver's instead - tasty, but certainly no Steak n' Shake.
