Peaches urges celebs not to give their kids stupid names

Peaches Geldof is appealing to celebrities to stop giving their children ridiculous names.

Peaches, the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, says her own name has made her life hell.

Her given name in full is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof.

She said: "I hate ridiculous names, my weird name has haunted me all my life.

"I hate being famous; people claim to know me because of my surname."

Peaches has three sisters named Fifi Trixabelle, Pixie and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lilly.
Maybe slicing off his nipple affected his rational thought process.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but she's only famous because of her dad...and he's only famous because of The Wall, the movie, right?

I'm sure a few people know him from Live Aid. I kind of like the unusual name thing.

I think Live Aid (and to some extent, the Boomtown Rats) had more to do with his fame than The Wall.

Either way, she has a point. While Geldof probably contributed to the wackiness, all of Paula Yates' kids (including Tiger Lily) have horrible names. Not quite as bad as Moon Unit Zappa though.

I wouldn't want to have any of those names. I agree with her.

An intern co-worker of mine went out on a date with Milton Bradley. Or was it Coco Crisp?

Either way, she wasn't thrilled with his ego and declined a second date. She also said he was dumber than a box of rocks. Quartz to boot.

What about the president of Ford, Bill Ford? Naming himself after the company he runs. What a loon.

I started thinking Geldof was a jerk when he threw that bottle at the groupie (Jenny Wright) in "The Wall."

Musical talent does run in the family though. I really like that album she did with Herb.

I do hope you're pronouncing his name with a hard H. Otherwise his name would be stoopid yo.

She was named after the Idaho town of "Picabo", not the children's game, ya moron.
